He could have won in a landslide, now he will lose in a landslide.
I've seen this before, and I can't lie to myself anymore. Hillary will be the next president of United States. I can't even see a way for Trump to fix this. He is a moron of the highest caliber.
The key to Trump's success was that what he was saying was essentially true. But if you are going to be that aggressive you have to be right 100% of the time. You can't just say things, take them back, restate them, and then have all of your statements contrasted with what you said 20 years ago. It is just too much.
When he said criminals were coming over the border, that was true. When he said the judge was against him because he is Mexican, that is racist. If you are for gun rights, then you must be for gun rights. Trump now supports an unelected board of bureaucrats to determine who can buy a gun based on a no fly list. Trump, says he is going to replace Obamacare with . . . what? Another government controlled health care bureaucracy?
Why is he attacking Republicans at this point? Why slam people who don't even matter to the general electorate. At the very least it draws attention to things that most people would not have even noticed. Trump needs to learn to pick his battles.
So we are now stuck between a rock and an idiot. I would vote for the idiot, because of supreme court judges, but he even screwed that up. Trump submitted a great list of nominees, but then said he may "add to it later . . ."
I can't even tell you what Trump stands for. In good conscious I don't think I can vote for him. Name one thing he hasn't backed off of? The wall? He told the New York Times, it was "negotiable."
That sad part is, he had the potential to be great, but insist instead on being a great big loser.
Known as an expert in all he surveys, he freely shares his opinions on politics, science & theology using diatribes based upon careless research from tertiary sources that presupposed what he thought in the first place.
