I will never forget children playing at a McDonald's playland in Arizona. After forming teams, they began to play Kill the Walkers! Obviously times have changed and The Walking Dead has had an affect on our society.
When I was younger I always played WW II. It was me against the Krauts, freeing Europe from the Nazis. From my perspective, we were the good guys and they, they were the bad guys. Today in 2017 Americans are reluctant to designate anyone as the "bad guy" and the only true bad guys are those who point out imorality in our culture.
What politically correctness got right was that there was more to the story and not all the bad guys were bad guys. True. But in trying to justify some, polical correctness tries to justify all, leading to a more distorted reality than before.
In theory, It was correct to point out that not everyone was our enemy and we do have a propensity to reinforce stereotypes, but it has lead to a society that thinks that those who would harm us are only imaginary.
Illegals coming over the border are thought of as "people wanting to work" instead of aknowledging the massive amount of crime coming into the country.
Homosexuals are thought of as "people who just love each other" and "who want to adopt to have a normal life." So we now deprive children of both a mommy and a daddy to prove how tolerant we are at the expense of a child's well being.
Since the bad guys of the past are now considered victimized social groups, we have removed them from the list of acceptable bad guys. We are no longer allowed to point out bad behavior and punish it. Instead we offer reperations and designate the good guys as the enemy instead.
Zombies are now the only demographic group we Americans are allowed to kill. They can be "them" and we can kill "them" at will because they are not real. No one has to be offended. Since they are a blank slate, we can also assign and reassign to them whatever the present crop of social justice warriors deem evil and blame it on "them."
It is a type of killing with no ramifications, no consequences, and no accountability. It is modern America.
Contrary to current college history courses, Germans were trying to take over the world and it was a good thing for kids in 1940's America to stand up to Adolph Hitler with guns imagined from sticks and "kill him." The free world was at stake.
My father used to play cowboys and indians, which is so not allowed today, but that reasoning is based upon another lie. Native Americans were not innocent enviromentalist at one with nature that we corrupted with capitalism and Christianity when Europeans came to the Americas. Natives were already at war with each other, were performing evil ceremonies, and sacrificing each other to pagan gods long before we got here. Yes, manifest destiny was wrong, but the gospel was right. Both happened at the same time and they can't be seperated.
I have a dream. I wll be in a McDonald's someday and I will watch a bunch of kids playing - white kids, black kids, hispanic kids, native kids, Christian kids, and children of atheist - and guess what I hope they will be playing? Kill the Terrorist! It will be that generation of kids that will free us from Jihad, Sharia Law, and ISIS and truely make America great again!
This generation that constantly comes to the defense of its enemies will be the ones to die at their hands. This is not hyperbole, it is happening right now, because they can't tell the difference between real or imaginary.
